Tangent Olive Tile

A pH-neutral soap wins every time: diluted in warm water, it lifts dirt from Carreau Tangeant Olivier while feeding the natural patina of the cement tile. Black soap in moderation also works if well rinsed. What Carocim rules out is any acid, bleach or scouring product — they etch the surface. Gentle washing plus a maintained sealer: the whole secret.

Six colourways strong, the Tangeant family runs right through the Sim.PL collection: Carreau Tangeant Olivier shares its symmetrical curves with siblings in blue, white, green and more, all drawn by Carocim on the same 20 x 20 cm module. You can mix them freely — same cement tile thickness, same drawing — to compose gradients or checkerboards of curving lines.

Under a southern sky, unprotected pigments would indeed tire; that is why Carocim systematically treats its outdoor cement tiles against UV. Carreau Tangeant Olivier, rated for exterior use, keeps its olive green and white crisp — prolonged sun adds only a gentle, even patina. Renew the protective sealer from time to time and the curves stay luminous for decades.

No coating makes any surface literally stain-proof, but a properly sealed Carreau Tangeant Olivier comes close: the water- and oil-repellent treatment saturates the pores of this Carocim cement tile so spills bead and wait politely to be wiped. Coffee, oil or wine left overnight can still mark, so blot promptly. Renew the sealer periodically and stains stay strangers.
