FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

Does the sealer protect Carreau Villandry Argile from grease stains in the kitchen?

Effective everyday protection: the water- and oil-repellent sealer sealer applied to Carreau Villandry Argile does protect this Carocim cement tile against kitchen grease stains, by limiting how much liquid can soak into the material's natural porosity over time in cooking areas.

Can bleach be used on Carreau Villandry Argile?

To preserve the look of a handmade cement tile, certain products should be avoided: bleach must never be used on Carreau Villandry Argile, as it risks permanently dulling the surface, with Carocim recommending a pH-neutral soap for routine care instead.

How much does a single Carreau Villandry Argile tile cost?

Yes, a per-tile price can be worked out for Carreau Villandry Argile: at Carocim's rate of €220.50 per m², each 0.04 m² cement tile costs about €8.82 per piece, excluding the full box price and shipping costs when purchased that way.

What area does one box of Carreau Villandry Argile cover?

A box of Carreau Villandry Argile covers 0.48 m², since it holds 12 Carocim cement tiles measuring 20 x 20 cm each: this figure makes it easy to work out how many boxes are needed for the total surface to be tiled.

Can I install Carreau Villandry Argile around a swimming pool without worrying about the sun?

16 mm thick with a systematic anti-UV treatment: Carreau Villandry Argile has everything needed to be installed around a pool without worrying about the sun, since Carocim applies this treatment to all of its outdoor cement tiles made for exposed settings.
