Yellow & White Zig Tile

Yes, the maths is immediate: at 25 tiles per m², 100 pieces of the Carreau Zag Jaune & Blanc cover exactly 4 m². This 20 x 20 cm Carocim cement tile comes in boxes of 12, i.e. 0.48 m² per box. Always add a margin for cutting the diagonal-band motif.

Against UV, this cement tile is well armed: intended for outdoor use, it receives the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically applies to its exterior tiles. The luminous yellow and the white of the diagonal bands are thus protected against discolouration. The clean contrast of Baptiste Vandaele's design stays vivid season after season.

20 x 20 cm and 16 mm thick: that is the single format offered for this cement tile from the Baptiste Vandaele collection at Carocim. No large format in the catalogue, and do factor that 16 mm height into level transitions; once assembled, the yellow and white diagonal bands create long graphic lines that visually enlarge the surface.

Designed by Baptiste Vandaele for Carocim, this motif goes for radical simplicity: two yellow diagonal bands set in opposite corners of a white ground. This cement tile becomes a graphic module: depending on the laying direction, zigzags, diamonds or broken lines appear. A luminous minimalism rarely seen in patterned tiles.

Yes, budgeting is easy: at €220.50 per m², a typical 1.5 m² splashback in Carreau Zag Jaune & Blanc represents about €331 of tiles, excluding installation and adhesive. This Carocim cement tile is sold in boxes of 12 (0.48 m²), so plan on 4 boxes for that area including the cutting margin — and contact Carocim directly about samples.
