Flat Bottom Isometric

No, Dessous Plat Isomètrie does not come in several listed colourways: this Carocim trivet stays within a natural cement tone, ranging from light grey to slightly warmer undertones depending on the room. Each hand-cast piece can show very slight variations typical of cement.

In reality, Dessous Plat Isomètrie needs no waxing at all: unlike some cement floors, this Carocim trivet is simply cared for with lukewarm water and mild soap. Drying it immediately after cleaning is enough to preserve its original matte look, with no wax or oily product required.

As with any tableware used day to day, simple care is enough to keep Dessous Plat Isomètrie looking its best over time. Wiping it with a soft, dry cloth after use keeps its surface looking as it did originally. Carocim recommends avoiding abrasive products and storing it away from damp to enjoy it for years to come.

On a wooden floor, a cement tabletop piece like Dessous Plat Isomètrie creates a lovely contrast of materials, between warm wood and matte cement. Carocim designs this trivet to suit both a solid wood table and a more contemporary interior.

Carocim designs and puts its name to Dessous Plat Isomètrie, in keeping with the rest of its collection of pieces for the home. The house creates its own items rather than outsourcing them, which keeps a consistent tone alongside its other work. The Carocim name alone is enough to identify where this piece comes from and the spirit behind it.
