Trivet

Bleach should never be used on Dessous Plat Rayon: this acidic product attacks cement and permanently dulls its matte surface. Carocim recommends simple mild soap and lukewarm water to care for this trivet, exactly as for its cement tiles.

A tableware piece with a structured silhouette, that is what Dessous Plat Rayon is within the Carocim collection. Its name suggests lines radiating outward, a graphic choice that sets it apart from more classic shapes. Carocim treats it as a piece designed to protect a table while making a recognisable style statement.

Without belonging to a tile collection as such, Dessous Plat Rayon draws its inspiration from the graphic universe Carocim develops on its cement tiles. The radiating pattern carries that visual language onto the table, in a piece designed as a standalone decorative object.

Dessous Plat Rayon pairs easily with a decorating project built around clean lines and considered materials. Carocim designs it as a complementary piece, able to sit well with contemporary furniture as much as more classic elements. It joins an already composed table without upsetting its overall balance.

Light wood and black metal particularly flatter Dessous Plat Rayon on a table. Carocim designs this cement trivet to create an interesting contrast of materials, working just as well with a marble tray as with a raw wood table.
