Toumèto Green Pine Forest Tile

How well a cement tile withstands UV mainly depends on the treatment applied after laying, more than on the pigment alone. For Imagier Astros Ebony Noir, Carocim systematically applies this anti-UV treatment to tiles intended for outdoor use, which greatly limits the effect of the sun on the deep black of the pattern. This protection lasts several years before it may need renewing.

Renewing the sealer mainly depends on how the cement tile is used and how exposed it is, rather than on any universal timeframe. For Imagier Astros Ebony Noir laid outdoors, Carocim recommends an annual check to see whether water still beads on the surface. Indoors, this renewal is needed far less often.

Yes, Imagier Astros Ebony Noir is available in several other shades within the Astros collection, such as powder pink or eucalyptus. Each colourway uses the same pattern and the same cement tile format, with only the pigment changing from one reference to another. Carocim recommends checking the Astros catalogue to compare the available options.

20 x 20 cm is the square format of Imagier Astros Ebony Noir, the standard size for this cement tile that Carocim uses across the whole Astros collection. This size ensures direct compatibility with the other colourways in the range for a consistent layout. It also suits laying on both large and small surfaces.

A deep black floor immediately draws in the surrounding light and creates a sense of depth in a room, unlike a pale shade that visually enlarges the space. Imagier Astros Ebony Noir therefore sets a bold, almost dramatic mood through a graphically patterned cement tile. Carocim recommends pairing it with generous lighting to balance this intensity.
