Toumèto Green Pine Forest Tile

A cement tile leaves Carocim's workshop untreated, with no water- and oil-repellent sealer applied beforehand. Imagier Astros Mauve Musquée therefore needs this treatment once it has been laid, before grouting, to protect its porous surface for the long term. This step is carried out by the fitter or homeowner, using products Carocim specifically recommends for cement tile.

The Astros collection is one of the recent creations Carocim develops with designer Claire Detallante, following on from the Zodiac collection. Imagier Astros Mauve Musquée carries through its pared-back graphic spirit, built around shapes evoking stars rather than figurative symbols. This range of cement tiles continues to be expanded with new colourways over time.

Carocim is behind Imagier Astros Mauve Musquée, combining its artisanal cement tile expertise with a design by Claire Detallante. This collaboration gives rise to a pattern with a surreal, modern style, created for the Astros collection. The tile is still made from start to finish in the house's French workshop.

Laying Imagier Astros Mauve Musquée in full sun poses no particular risk of fading, thanks to the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically applies to cement tiles intended for outdoor use. This treatment protects the musky mauve in depth, beyond a simple surface effect. Suitable care, free of acidic products, rounds out this protection over time.

A bohemian or eclectic interior, one that embraces colour and mixed materials, particularly shows off Imagier Astros Mauve Musquée. The musky mauve of the pattern pairs with raw wood, rattan or heavy textiles without ever looking flat. Carocim regularly sees this kind of cement tile chosen for projects looking to move away from overly neutral decor.
