Arch Tan Tile

Tradition lives in the hands, not the drawing: Terrazzo Ligne Lilas Tourterelle is made with the ancestral cement tile craft that Carocim perpetuates, yet its pale pink and grey curves are a thoroughly contemporary creation by studio Heju. So the making honours tile heritage while the motif looks resolutely forward — the collection's defining balance.

Yes, it is a living heritage: the technique behind Terrazzo Ligne Lilas Tourterelle — pigments poured by hand, divider moulds, pressing, natural curing without firing — is the historic craft of the cement tile, transmitted from maker to maker and kept alive by Carocim. Each tile carries that inheritance beneath its contemporary Heju drawing.

The listed figure is clear on one side: Terrazzo Ligne Lilas Tourterelle costs €220.50 per square metre as a patterned, designer cement tile. Plain-coloured tiles are priced separately in the Carocim catalogue depending on the model, so the exact difference varies — compare directly on Carocim.com or ask the team for both references.

One tile never exactly matches its neighbour, but the effect stays subtle: across a batch of Terrazzo Ligne Lilas Tourterelle, the pale pink and grey shift by gentle degrees, as expected from a handcrafted cement tile. Mix boxes while laying and Carocim's artisanal nuances read as a soft overall vibration, not as visible steps.

On a rooftop terrace, the sun strikes hard, yet this design is equipped: Terrazzo Ligne Lilas Tourterelle carries the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically gives its outdoor cement tiles, protecting pigments so colours stay real. Keep the sealer maintained and clean with neutral soap; the pale pink and grey will hold their quiet elegance aloft.
