Arch Tan Tile

Intense sun is part of its design brief: Terrazzo Vague Fumée Lilas benefits from the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically applies to its outdoor cement tiles, keeping the pale pink and grey pigments protected and the colours real under Mediterranean light. Maintain the pore-filling sealer and clean gently, and the soft wave keeps its subtlety.

Two shades make up Terrazzo Vague Fumée Lilas: a pale pink and a grey, meeting along a gently undulating divide. Chosen by studio Heju for Carocim, this quiet pairing gives the 20 x 20 cm cement tile its subtle, harmonious, contemporary character — easy to match with whites, light woods and powdery tones throughout a home.

True to traditional cement tile making, Terrazzo Vague Fumée Lilas is 16 mm thick: that generous body houses the pigmented wear layer that keeps the pattern alive for decades. It is the standard build of Carocim's handcrafted tiles, equally at home on floors, walls and outdoor surfaces when properly laid and sealed.

No complicated maths here: 25 tiles of Terrazzo Vague Fumée Lilas cover one square metre, since each cement tile measures 20 x 20 cm. Carocim packs them in boxes of 12, covering 0.48 m² per box. Add a cutting margin, round up to whole boxes, and your order is sized correctly first time.

Playing with orientation is half the fun: rotate Terrazzo Vague Fumée Lilas from tile to tile and its wavy divide composes ripples, arcs or irregular landscapes; align it and you get one calm, continuous flow. This freedom is intrinsic to the Heju design, and Carocim's 20 x 20 cm cement tile format makes every layout possible.
